Outreaches

INTRODUCTION

As believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, we stand in obedience to the Great Commission—to preach the Gospel to all nations, baptize them, and teach them to observe all things He has commanded, as written in His Word:

Matthew 28:19–20

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
Amen.”

One of our most important testimonies as one body of Bethany Baptist Church Milan (“Bethany Milan”) is that there is blessing and enabling in obedience. The Lord’s faithfulness in entrusting us—His believers and followers—with the authority to carry out His command has been evident. It is a strong and constant reminder that we serve the living God—the God who did not remain on the cross, but rose again and continues to be with us today.

Ten years after the inception of Bethany Milan as a mission work in 2012, the church has grown—not only in number, but also in reach. By God’s grace, He has allowed us to establish outreach ministries across several countries in the European Union, specifically in Malta, Rome, Switzerland, Poland, and Norway. Today, these outreaches form an essential part of the life and ministry of the church—each one grounded in the same faith, standing under the same truth, and striving for the same Gospel mission.

Each outreach began from a unique circumstance—some through hardship, others through quiet persistence. Yet in every story, one biblical truth remains: a true believer submits to the leading of the Holy Spirit and diligently seeks Jesus Christ in all things. As we are reminded in the Scriptures:

Hebrews 11:6

“But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

The outreach ministries of Bethany Milan were not built on personal ambition, but on spiritual sensitivity. They began through Spirit-led individuals who earnestly sought a true, Bible-preaching church—one that proclaims the Gospel boldly and teaches the commands and standards of Christ directly from Scripture. These are believers who recognize the Word of God as the highest authority and believe, as we do, that the Word—like Christ—is alive.
