Preparing Men for Biblical Leadership and Faithful Service
At Bethany Baptist Church, we are deeply persuaded that the strength of a local church is closely tied to the stability of the homes within it—and that enduring strength in the home begins with men who are spiritually anchored, scripturally guided, and wholly committed to their God-given responsibilities.
This gathering is more than a source of encouragement—it is a focused time for instruction, spiritual growth, and leadership preparation. Men are taught to recognize the weight of godly leadership, both in the home and within the church and community.
A central element of the Men’s Meeting is the devotional rotation. Each man is assigned a week to share their devotion. This regular practice and rhythm builds consistency in study, depth in personal devotion, care in interpretation, and clarity in speaking the truth in love.
The meeting also serves as a training ground for those called to preach or minister. It provides structure, guidance, and opportunity—emphasizing not only doctrinal accuracy, but also spiritual character, humility in delivery, and readiness for lasting service.
Our goal is to produce men who are deeply rooted not just in doctrine – but in solid, biblical conviction.
